Welcome to our first WeAreTENZING Weekly Wrap Up. Each week we’ll be sharing some tips on how to grow your social media following as well as celebrating success within our WeAreTENZING family. We have over 90 team members now, all doing amazing things which we think deserve some recognition – whether it be Ricardo getting his first win on the 2017 World Surf League qualifying series by taking out the Martinique Pro or Kayla’s new ANZ campaign. The Weekly Wrap Up will let everyone know what’s happening in the WeAreTENZING community. Please let us know if you or a team member you know has had an amazing week and we’ll try to get it in the next instalment.
Get the Fans Involved
This awesome post by Tom English is a perfect example of how to get the fans involved. Incorporating fans into your shot is a sure fire way to grab a bunch new followers.
I can assure you that everyone in this shot will not only now be following Tom but would have re-posted his image as well. Asking the team photographer to take a photo of you with the fans is an easy way for you to grab some awesome content.
2. Don’t be afraid to use Instagrams new features – Instagram live and the new album option are good for sequence shots, trainings and post highlights.
3. Facebook 360 gives the audience an interactive experience, much more exciting than a regular photo. Try it at training.
Match-Up of the Week
The Central Pulse take on The Northern Stars tonight at TSB Arena in Wellington. It will be a battle of defence as our own Phoenix Karaka takes on Kayla Cullen. This is a chance for good friends to create some fun social media rivalry.
Good luck to both of our girls playing tonight. First centre pass 7:40pm SkySport.
Creating content can seem like a chore but in fact, the ease at which amazing content can be made will surprise you. Both these awesome videos created by Amber (click on image) and Tom were captured using a GoPro and edited within a couple of hours using iMovie.
What’s more exciting is the rewards that can come from creating good content. Not only does this content increase engagement but it also increases the likelihood of endorsements.
