What a great week at WeAreTENZING! Sam and Inga both played fantastically for the NZ Barbarians. Sam crossed the line early in the match but the Barbarians couldn’t quite get the win, going down 13-7, an amazing effort none the less. Pat had a hard fought win defeating the Reds in Samoa, Vince scored again and is now just one try short of equaling the Super Rugby record, Storm was instrumental in the Mystics win over the Pulse, Kat helped lead an inexperienced NZ woman’s 7’s team to a tournament victory in the Canada 7’s, Ziggy and the Chiefs recorded another impressive win defeating the Waratahs. An awesome effort this week by everyone at WeAreTENZING, and don’t forget if you or a team member you know has done something amazing, please let us know and we’ll try to get it in the next instalment.
Black Ferns Win in Canada
This win puts them clear at the top of the series ranking with one tournament left to play in France next month.
With a young and inexperienced team performing well, gives them confidence going into the next series. Building consistency over the next three years will now be their focus for the Tokyo Olympics. Good Luck girls!
Social Media Tips & Tricks
1. Host a takeover! A different way to connect and engage with followers is by inviting another influencer or teammate to take over your Instagram feed for the day. This can also work both ways – Kayla took over her team the Northern Stars Instagram ahead of their game day and gave their followers a different perspective while also growing her own social media presence.
2. Hold contests! Everyone loves free things and one contest can generate the same engagement and increase in followers as hundreds of pieces of content. Whether it’s tickets to one of your games or tickets to a movie like Storm and Phoenix promoting the WonderWoman campaign.
