Jono is ready to go after posting the fastest lap time at the Suzuka SUPER GT tyre test. What a battle it was on Friday night – Ziggy and Vince both played in a hard fought battle between the Chiefs and the Hurricanes, with the Chiefs narrowly coming away with the victory 17-14. For us, this was easily the match of the year so far. Storm, Phoenix and Kayla all played in the Super Sunday round of the ANZ Premiership. Storm and the Mystics beat Kayla and the Northern Stars in a close battle and Phoenix came away with a comfortable win over the Tactix. Tania Tare has gone viral once again with her trick shots on Facebook this week. This time a compilation video of her work has reached 5 million views in only 3 days! An awesome effort this week by everyone at WeAreTENZING, and don’t forget if you or a team member you know has done something amazing, please let us know and we’ll try to get it in the next instalment.
Super Sunday Netball
Sunday was a huge day for Phoenix, Storm and Kayla who all played in Auckland in the Super Sunday round of the ANZ Premiership.
This round was important for all three teams to cement a spot in the elimination final in two weeks.
The Mystics managed to come away with a tight win over the stars, defeating them 60 – 54 in the end. The Pulse also had a strong performance over the Tactix, winning 56 – 37.
Kayla, Storm and Phoenix all had solid defensive games and will have to back it up again this week if they want a spot in the top three.
The Mystics will play again tonight at 7.40pm at Trusts Arena in Auckland, and the Pulse will be taking on the Stars on Wednesday at 8pm in Porirua.
Good lucks girls, we would be happy with a three way draw!
