Huriana Manuel and Joe Sullivan were both awesome in their Q and A’s at the Lions Fan Zone, Richie Hardcore completed the Lifewise Big Sleepout, Ziggy again played fantastically for Tonga scoring the opening try, however, it was not quite enough as they lost 14-10 to Fiji. An awesome effort this week by everyone at WeAreTENZING, and don’t forget if you or a fellow WeAreTENZING client you know has done something amazing, please let us know and we’ll try to get it in the next instalment.

Social Media Tips & Tricks
1. Ask your followers to make a choice – a fun way to engage with your followers is to post a “this” or “that” post. Asking followers to pick a side or choose a favourite can cause division and dialogue in the comments. Elle Ferguson used this technique to decide between a pair of shoes!
2. Share industry news and hot topics – Even your most loyal followers are interested in more than your personal brand. Sharing big news from your industry – whether it be rugby or parenthood can show fans you’re not just focused on promoting yourself, but also keeping them informed on what matters to you.
Ricardo lends a hand
The Ballito pro didn’t go quite to plan for Ric over the weekend but as per usual, Ric reached out to give a hand where he could.
Ric is passionate about giving the less privileged the opportunity to experience surfing. So while in Ballito, Ricardo was honoured to be able to help the Ilembe Surf Riders, a local non-profit organisation helping indigenous Ballito children get into the water and surf.
Ric will have the chance to bounce back when he competes in the Vans US Open! Best of luck mate.
The Second Phase Continues
Sione is passionate about helping athletes identify and overcome challenges, sharing his story through his book “The Second Phase”.
Sione has been busy presenting and sharing his message and book at various seminars and events around Australia.
Most recently he was at The Griffith University sports seminar, and the Gailes Golf Club State of Origin event creating important conversations around sporting opportunities, athlete transition and support networks.
These talks and conversations are a continuation of what Sione has set out to do, which is to raise more awareness on helping athletes to not make the same mistakes that he did.
Keep up the good work Sione.
