Congratulations to Inga Finau who was part of the Premiership winning Canterbury side. Alex the “Chief” Pledger again had a standout game for the Breakers as they beat the Brisbane Bullets. Storm Purvis and Kayla Cullen both were excellent for the Silver Ferns at Fast 5 World Series but unfortunately could not get the result they were after. Courtney Tairi did an awesome job as the sideline presenter during the Kiwis vs Samoa game. Best of luck to Ricardo Christie who is jetting of to Brazil for the Joaquina 6000.
The Chief Dominates
The Breakers have cemented their spot on the top of the table with another win vs the Brisbane Bullets.
Brisbane looked to take the charge from the start jumping out to an early lead.
But through strong defence led by Alex, the Breakers were able to crawl the lead back.
The Breakers stepped it up a level in the fourth quarter pushing out their lead to 11 points by the end of the game.
Another great game Alex, best of luck vs the Adelaide 36ers
