The day that you have all been waiting for has come, the WeAreTenzing Wrap Up is back! We have had some awesome moments over the festive season so make sure you check it all out below.
Ricardo is Crowned National Champion
Ricardo Christie has started 2018 with a bang by claiming the New Zealand National Surf title.
Ricardo had hometown advantage with this years competition being held in Gisborne. However, Ric did not have it all his own way.
Piha local Elliot Paerata-Reid posted two solid scores early in the final to take a big lead, but Ricardo quickly showed why he is world class, coming from behind to steal the win with a near perfect ride and finish with the highest total of the entire event.
Congrats again Ric, Amazing effort!
Social Tips and Tricks
Unsure how to best utilise the highlight feature on Instagram?
One of my favorite ways to use it is for splitting up your passions.
For example, if you are into travel and food, you can save your best travel stories to a highlight story and same with food. Or you can get more detailed and have those holiday highlight moments split into different locations e.g. highlight real for Fiji and one for Samoa.
As a whole, it is important (if you’re not already!) to really start embracing Instagram Stories. At the end of 2017, over 50 million more people were using Instagram Stories compared to Snapchat Stories and this trend looks like it will only continue.
Feel free to contact me if you need any help with Instagram Stories.
Jess Quinn takes South Korea
2018 Winter Olympic Games.
To be chosen to carry the torch is an incredible honor and we couldn’t be more proud of Jess Quinn for being chosen!
Jess had the amazing experience of spending last week getting to see some of South Korea’s best sights, eating some great food and meeting some incredibly inspirational people.
An amazing moment to be a part of – well done Jess!
Anjuli Hits The Reebok Athlete Summit
This year Anjuli had the honor of being invited to the Reebok Athlete Summit held in Phuket, Thailand. Here Anjuli was lucky enough to meet many of the globes top athletes.
Of course, Anjuli kept up her training but she also took advantage of the amazing athletes that were there by taking the time to learn other exercises such as yoga with Livvlo.
Anjuli has captured plenty of amazing content from this trip so make sure you check it all out over on her Instagram: @anjuli_fitforlife.
Great work Anjuli!
The sport is starting to pick up again for the WeAreTENZING family.
In preparation, the team is off to London for a rematch with England before they head to Johannesburg to take on South Africa, best of luck girls!
Alex The Chief Pledger and the Breakers are up against their top of the table rivals Melbourne United this Thursday. Melbourne have a very strong offense so The Chief’s defense will definitely be called upon. Good luck mate!
And finally, Mitchell McClenaghan will look to continue his run of wicket taking when the Sydney Thunder take on the Adelaide Strikers this Saturday.
