Olympic freestyle skier, TV sports presenter for The Crowd Goes Wild, and 2019 Dancing with the Stars contestant, Anna is a woman of many talents!
Anna began skiing with her family at the age of four but it wasn’t until she finished school and began dedicating full seasons to the sport that she discovered her passion for slopestyle skiing. Competing for 6 years on the World Tour amongst the best in the world, a life with extreme highs and lows, Anna discovered passion, determination, focus and the ability to do whatever it takes to be the best she could be. She competed in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, proudly wearing the Silver Fern.
Unfortunately, after suffering injuries including a broken back, Anna had to walk away from her dream of a second Olympics. Keeping herself open and connected led to her current job as a sports reporter and presenter on The Crowd Goes Wild.
Dancing for the Mental Health Foundation on Dancing with the Stars, Anna has been inspired to share her journey with depression and anxiety. She is passionate about raising awareness and hopes that by sharing her story, she can give others the confidence to share their own journey with mental health.
